There are places that invite you to settle down: an open plateau with breathtaking views of valleys, forests, and sunsets. This is where the Côté Sud house took root, without a sound or even a tree being cut down.

With its gabled roof and minimalist architecture, the residence is low and elongated, so as not to be buffeted by the west winds. It is inside that the house reveals itself. The main structure is simple, open, and straightforward, with living areas arranged in a row.

Visitors are welcomed into an interior courtyard, a protected space planted with native shrubs, leading to a large covered entrance. The transparency of the entrance is captivating… you can't help but stop to enjoy the view and the light that filters in.

Clad in weathered wood—Eastern white cedar planks—the house promises to soften with the patina of time.

On the ceiling, the rich colour of natural wood balances the lustre of the polished concrete floor, creating a unique atmosphere woven with warmth and modernity.
