Strikingly unique, the Pittstop Vélo-Café building successfully blends industrial and rustic styles. Hip, unpretentious, and modernist, it's designed as an inviting meeting place where you can feel inspired and comfortable.
In stark contrast to the company's white logo, the black steel cladding on the roof and walls of the building lends it a sense of solidity and elegance. Conversely, the raw hemlock gives it a more organic and rustic appearance.
Adding texture and visual richness to the whole, Corten steel was chosen to create a solid structure that frames the entrance and extends into large planting boxes. Within these, grasses accentuate the organic character of the raw hemlock.
Inside, an industrial aesthetic showcases the displayed bicycles. The Pittstop Bike Café: a carefully considered project reflecting the company's commitment to quality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
