A magnificent plot calls for a discreet project that leaves plenty of room for nature, trees, and valleys.

Inspired by the location, the architectural intention was to develop a simple project, linked to the land by its shape, inviting the outside in.

The dark and sober house rests delicately on a plateau, while advancing the wing of the bedrooms towards the south, following the relief. A transparent glass opening marks the entrance, catches the eye, and offers a view of the deep green of the forest through the house. On one side, black metal cladding extends the roof; on the other, natural stone. And the slats, openwork, light, border the terrace at the far end.

The house is simple, with a gabled roof typical of Nordic architecture. With a discreet, closed-off façade, it opens up to embrace the view and the magnificent natural surroundings on the opposite side.

Large bay windows and terraces (on each level) invite wonder and contemplation.

The master suite, located in a wing perpendicular to the main building, seems to float and extend above the trees. The interior, with its open spaces, is bright, neutral, and understated, magnifying the light so unique to forests and mountains!

Thanks to its free and open layout and modernist simplicity, this house is part of a contemporary, renewed architectural style that takes care of its inhabitants.
