Set in the rolling hills of the Eastern Townships, the Beatnik is an old sheep barn that was transformed into a small, unassuming hotel. Boldly renovated, the place is unique for its unconventional character and its bohemian charm. While surrounded by beautiful nature, the hotel still has a touch that is urban and trendy as well as something punkish!
From afar, one notices a distinctive element: beautiful tall barn doors, open to the fields, that invite people to get closer and discover what is behind. Near the entrance, the roof extends to create a clear line of modern inspiration and recalls the style of a motel from the 50s. Black and white are side by side, in clear contrast, striking like different seasons. Around the corner, protected by the roof and sheltered from the wind, a terrace invites guests to take a seat and enjoy overlooking views at the hills.
Upon entering the reception area, guests are pleasantly surprised by a rustic mural with urban styling that creates a laid-back atmosphere. In the middle of the space, a wood stove invites guests to gather for après-ski. Various original and reclaimed materials, such as the horse stall door separating the reception from the bistro or the wall of antique mirrors, add to the eclectic charm. In the bistro, large windows have been included on the east side to offer views of the sun rising.
